Terms of service
Draft for legal review. These terms are a starting point that must be reviewed and completed by qualified counsel before public launch.
The service
KO-AMS is academic management software for educational institutes: students, batches, attendance, timetable, fees, assessments and announcements.
Your institute's responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep sign-in details private.
- Only enter data about students, their parents or guardians and staff that the institute is entitled to hold, and tell them how it is used.
- Decide who is an administrator and what each person may see.
Trials, plans and renewal
A workspace starts on a trial with limits on students and teachers. When a trial or paid period ends there is a 7-day grace period; after that the workspace becomes read-only until it is renewed. Nothing is deleted when access is paused, and data can always be exported.
Closing a workspace
An institute may ask to close its workspace at any time. Its data is kept for a limited retention period so it can be exported, then permanently deleted.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other institutes' data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. Access may be suspended for serious or repeated breaches.
